From my experienc, as a psychotherapist, working with teens and adults facing seemingly intractable issues, the capacity for change is available to everyone.

In our work together, I will share with you the science of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and how our mind, body, and emotions create our behaviors. I will explore with you how this information can be used in practical and creative ways to empower you in life.​

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) offers a way for you to claim power over worry thinking replacing it with thoughtful thinking. This shift slows down reactive behaviors allowing time to consider a more creative and effective response.

Become the Expert of You.

To live a fully human life, whatever our age, we experience a wide range of feelings.  The most uncomfortable feelings are like the ones that get you tangled up and stuck in limiting behavior patterns. These patterns can lead to avoidance behavior that can make your life small, confusing, and stuck in unproductive worry thinking.

My goal in our work together is to help you unravel your limiting behaviors by arming you with information, understanding, and opportunities to reflect, explore, and practice how to be the EXPERT of YOU.

In our work together, I WILL:

  • Listen deeply to learn about your inner and outer world.​​

  • Introduce you to new ways of thinking about what limits your life.​​​

  • Invite you over and over again to engage using your curiosity to challenge your reality.​​

  • Encourage non-judgmental exploration.​

  • Be candid and real to advance your progress at your pace.​​

  • Be there to celebrate when you discover new ways forward.
